About ISHC

The Inspiresport Independent Schools Hockey Competitions (ISHC) have been running for many years, with the Girls’ competition starting in 2015/16 and the Boys’ competition starting in 2016/17.

The competition is a National knockout format at both Cup & Plate level and runs at U13, U15 & U19 level.

This all culminates in Finals Day, which takes place at the Nottingham Hockey Centre in February (Girls) and March (Boys).

The Boys & Girls ISHC continues to grow from strength to strength, with nearly 500 teams entering the 2025/26 Competitions in a bid to become ISHC Champions.

Our new U12 & U14 7s Festivals offer a fantastic opportunity for these age groups to have two days of fun-filled hockey, playing against schools from across the country. If you would like to enter these Festivals, click here!

2026 will see the launch of a brand new competition; Girls Lacrosse (ISLC). This will mirror the format of the Hockey Competitions. To find out more or to enter, click here.
